• Desert Shield and Desert Storm, including Rafha LZ (KSA)
• Operation Provide Comfort (Sirsenk LZ, Iraq)
• Operation Provide Promise (Zagreb and Split, Croatia under UNHCR)

Following active-duty service, Michael served as a logistics contractor with DynCorp in Muscat, Oman and various Middle East locations, and later as Chief of Air Cargo and Ramp Services for KBR at Tuzla Air Base, Bosnia, supporting NATO and special operations elements.

Michael is also a former commercial HAZMAT cargo instructor with experience in IATA, CFR49, and IMDG requirements.

Mike now provides private contracting and advisory services to government, remote industry, and NGOs in expeditionary air mobility planning and operations, deployable aerial port capability design, and HA/DR (Humanitarian Aid/Disaster Relief) logistics integration, and is the founder and CEO of Expeditionary Air Services LLC.

Drawing on decades of firsthand experience operating in austere and expeditionary environments, Michael now applies those lessons to the design, engineering, fabrication, and integration of specialized material handling equipment (MHE), aircraft-loading systems, cargo-handling equipment, and other expeditionary logistics solutions. His focus is on developing practical systems that reduce manpower, equipment footprint, and infrastructure requirements while improving the effectiveness of tactical and small-aircraft airlift operations in remote and infrastructure-limited environments.
