TRAF is a developing network of independent civilian fixed and rotary wing air operators, logistics providers, equipment manufacturers and specialized personnel focused on supporting operations where conventional transportation and infrastructure may be limited, disrupted or unavailable.

The concept brings together tactical and short-field airlift, expeditionary cargo handling, mobile material-handling equipment, aerial-port capability and field-support systems into a coordinated response capability.

Rather than creating another aircraft operator, TRAF is intended to connect existing capabilities—allowing participating companies to retain their independence while providing customers access to a broader combination of aircraft, equipment and operational expertise.

Potential applications include humanitarian assistance and disaster response, remote industrial operations, austere airfield support, emergency logistics and other time-critical transportation requirements.
